11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Fridays in Brooklyn at Kings Bay YM-YWHA Chair and Mat Yoga sponsored by the Multiple Sclerosis Society of New York. The NYC Chapter of the National MS Society is proud to offer free recreation and fitness programs for people living with MS. Fall - Spring classes began in mid-October and continue through June, with breaks in between. Yoga promotes fitness, flexibility and relaxation while focusing on breathing practices. It also promotes strength and peace of mind. Level 1 Chair Yoga is designed for the individual to participate from the seated position.
